The Young Community explores the YOUNG families of Posey County, Indiana in the 1800's. At lease some of the Youngs are believed to have migrated from Harrison County, Kentucky. Intertwined with the Youngs are the families of ENDICOTT, FORRESTER, and TURNER.

Much of the information presented comes from local histories. I am working at verifying this information with research of obituaries and county courthouse records.

MOST WANTED

Determine birth date and place of William Young, son of William Young and Susan Turner; believe he was born circa 180 in Kentucky. Find date and place of death, likely Posey County, Indiana circt 1890-1891. Where is William buried? Did William have siblings? Believe it is likely that John Young of Posey County is his brother.
